I am a former secondary school English teacher who is now a college lecturer, journalist and author.

I graduated from the University of Strathclyde with a BA (Hons) in English in 2008, and in 2011 qualified as an English teacher at the University of the West of Scotland. My first teaching post was on the Isle of Arran, where I lived ifor more than three years before returning to Glasgow. I have now been teaching for more than a decade, during which time I have successfully delivered courses in English, communication, social science and journalism.

I am available for writing commissions, media appearances, consultancy, editing and proof-reading services.
